Pre Wants To Be In An iPhone Commercial?

Despite most people thinking that Bell was out of line with their Palm Pre commercials, I on the other hand feel like this commercial that they did is the closest thing to a decent Pre spot I have seen yet. I fully realize I will get grief for that line of thinking, but that is just how I feel about this whole thing.

Look, there is really no question that Bell TOTALLY copied Apple here. None at all. After watching those HORRIBLE Sprint commercials with the Pre…the ones that seemed like they were selling dreams and sunshine rather than a phone, I cannot help but think that perhaps Bell has the right idea.

At the end of the day, use what works. Apple knows what sells. And considering that the iPhone will remain king of the jungle anyway, let the Pre have its moment in the sun. Neither phone is perfect and both have some issues that leave a lot to be desired in some cases. But the iPhone has Apple rocking the commercials. So if this is what it takes to get the Pre a little face time, let’s toss Palm a bone here.
