Pre Sync With iTunes Fixed

To most people, the idea that somehow the Palm Pre was no longer able to work with iTunes was a moot issue. Why? Likely because those folks who wanted to sync with iTunes were likely either using an iPod or an iPhone. Clearly, it’s an “i” thing.

But despite my belief in this regard, it seems that there are those who own Palm Pre phones that were less than happy about being able to sync their music with iTunes one moment, only to have Apple take this function away soon after. Thankfully for Pre owners, Palm found a way around the issue as to restore this ability.

What is interesting is that while Apple is not actively trying to destroy this ability, they will block as new iTunes releases come up. This begs the question – why isn’t Palm instead approaching Amazon on a music store idea instead of piggy-backing on iTunes? Just saying…
