iPhone 3GS Encryption Suckith Hardith

Well this is not good news for anyone depending on the level of encryption provided by their iPhone 3GS. What is really sad is despite this encryption being so poorly implemented, it is also being used by thousands of business and government types as well. Great, so much for secure data!
I would remind everyone out there that no one means of encrypting data is 100% secure. That is hardly news. However what is news is hearing that Apple did what is being the worst encryption job ever seen by some security experts (see link above).
So just how simple is this to crack? Apparently a couple of pieces of freeware is all one needs to do the trick. And even then, it does not sound like any level of skill to access a users credit card or password information. How scary is that? Yikes…
