Apple Bringing In The Iron To Maiden

Not to be confused with Iron Maiden, the once popular metal band. Apple is bringing in their own data center to Maiden, North Carolina as I learned from this announcement today. It may not produce a lot of new jobs in the local sense, it will certainly give the local government a boost in various taxes I suspect.
And despite what is described as numerous tax breaks for Apple in choosing to setup shop in Maiden, I am told that this data center will actually indirectly create about 3,000 jobs for the affected locale.
The data center is being put into place to assist Apple in keeping pace with its booming media business. Apps, downloads, whatever it may be, this data center will be ready to help Apple keep pace with what is described as a significantly growing demand.
