Beejive Setting The Trends For Apple’s Push Services

I have been reading today that there are reports that the iPhone’s 3G S push service is not yet working. Really? Be that as it may, at least we can see one of the Push-enabled services coming to light here. Beejive, described by everyone who has tried it as the best instant messenger out there for the iPhone, has now been released using the iPhone’s latest Push technology.

This would mean having the true benefits of an instant messenger without the hassle of needing to keep the application open the entire time in anticipation of an incoming message. But just as important, though, it is allowing iPhone users to truly experience just how necessary Apple’s Push technology is on the iPhone.

With regard to the asking price of $10 for Beejive, I think it is a fair price if using an instant messenger is important enough to you. For business owners who are in need of keeping track of others in their work group, I could see $10 being a very small price to pay if it means being able to use their iPhones as work horses.
