It’s almost like something outside of Minority Report: OS X with facial tracking functionality! What will be really interesting is to see if we are looking at an OS X with the iSight camera being able to detect moods, not just facial expressions or movement.
Imagine your Mac having the ability to greet you with some funny jokes or perhaps appropriate wallpaper to fit the circumstances. Whatever it may be, I think this kind of technology is obtainable should this motion tracking ability come to the Mac platform.
As to the focus transitions, manipulation of graphical icons, and so on, that is less important I think. No, I see the big news being in something where your Mac can learn your expressions. That just seems a bit more interesting to me, personally.
