Safari 4 Might Be Just What The Doctor Ordered

Based on some early reports, one might surmise in saying that Safari 4 is to be one of the next great browser releases. But that said, it is also not without its issues, either. One of the big issues of course, is the fact that one must accept that it will likely preform differently from OS X to Windows.

Also, the new user interface, while cool, may not be for everyone. To make matters worse, some aspects such as the cover flow aspect to the new release, feels in many ways like a borrowed idea from the Opera browser. Namely, its speed dial functionality.

All of this said, those who are just disgusted with Firefox on OS X might find that Safari is just what the doctor ordered with regards to speed and functionality. Hardly making the claim that this is perfect, but until Google Chrome matures a bit, this maybe the best Firefox alternative out there at this point.
