And The iPod Wins Over SanD

I am among the first to admit that SanDisk makes some pretty good stuff. Some of my best Flash drives have the SanDisk name seen right on the top of them. But trying to take on Apple and the iPod proved to be a costly lesson for SanDisk.
Despite the company doing alright in comparison to Apple, apparently coming in second to the iPod with their Sansa media player. It took SanDisk to publicly admit that Apple had cleaned their collective clocks in the media player department.
SanDisk knows media storage. But Apple knows the casual consumer and music. Well, that and Apple also has a knack for marketing things a bit better than most. I guess that goes a long ways as well. In short, the iPod wars are long since over.
