Now this is interesting. It seems that here pretty soon, we might be looking at a new line of MacBook Airs at a price that is a bit more budget friendly. Hmm, I wonder if this is to counter the massive sales in the PC world with netbooks perhaps? It would certainly make a lot of sense if it was.

Most impressive of all is the rumor that these alleged Airs might also be featured with 3G access as well. Well, this is cool unless it rolls out just as 4G is becoming the way to go. Then this would make this line of MacBook Airs a bit dated. So let’s hope that the migration from 3G to 4G is an easy upgrade should it come down to it.

I would agree with the above linked article that inclusion of GPS is unlikely, but offering up solid state drives for data storage is a great idea. I mean, considering how sleek this Mac is already, going SSD seems like the only logical choice if you really stop to think about it.
