Eucalyptus Accepted, But At What Price?

There should be an image here!So despite Eucalyptus having links to what Apple apparently deemed as adult material, even if bordering on ridiculous, it seems as if Eucalyptus was dealt a whole new opportunity. Eucalyptus has been granted a space in the app store.

Sadly the controversy does not end there. At $10 for what most people say to be the single best eBook reader available on the iPhone, some very CHEAP individuals feel thats this is just too much.

Thankfully Apple has installed a function that I think will help with this problem. It’s called the back button. For those who just do not want to invest in a good eBook reader, the alternative is to return to the world to where we get what we pay for. Seriously, I detest cheapskates. Big pet peeve with me, as it drives me nuts with whiny people come into otherwise great news only to poo-poo it over the idea of something costing $10.

I happily buy apps over $10 all the time if the app is worth it to me. And if it is not, I backup rather than whining about how “expensive” something is. I am sorry, but if $10 is something that is too much to spend, you have bigger problems than finding apps for your iPhone - it’s called a cry for help and a serious lifestyle change.

You happily spend over $10.00 on apps - good for you. Some people are also actually commenting on the value of the app compared to the existing apps out there which are either free or priced significantly less than Eucalyptus.

I personally have not seen enough of the app to make a judgement so I can’t say. You indicate that most people think this is the best e-reader app out - who are these people and how many are there.

But the very whining you complain about in others is what comes across most strongly in your post, along with expansive over generalisation of people who don’t think necessarily agree with your assessment of the application.
