Has Apple Been QuickPwn’d?

One might think it a bit odd that Apple, the same company that has been pretty clear that they are not down with you Jail Breaking your iPhone, is now linking to it from their webapp directory for some reason? I certainly think it is a bit strange.

No matter though as those who are already using QuickPwn, know where to find it and how to install it. Really, offering it up on Apple’s own webapp directory is nothing more than a symbolic mistake or mishap.

As for the point from the above linked article about making an iPhone app for QuickPwn. Well, I have no doubt that it will not make it through. Not based on the potential for content that might be objectionable, rather the fact that it takes away Apple’s control over the application eco-system. And clearly, Apple is not really wanting that.
