Apple’s App Banning Policy – Is There An App For That?
So as we can see from this article, getting yourself banned with prohibited app submissions with Microsoft Windows Marketplace is apparently pretty black and white. Also, I would say the above linked piece explains what apps will simply be rejected as well.
So why is everything so secretive about Apple’s reasons for blocking or banning an application from the app store? Clearly, there needs to be a bit more transparency here as they will penalize one person over icons, while allowing an application like Baby Shaker (or whatever it was called) into the app store.
I want to believe that there are obvious things that are simply not allowed, but I am finding some apps that are questionable at best and indications that Apple is still asleep at the wheel with regard to what they are allowing into the app store.
