The iChat Answering Machine Blues

Honestly, I am surprised that it has taken this long to come out! Video answering machine for iChat - what is the hold up? I find it difficult to believe that the technology is so advanced that we have yet to hit this stuff yet in the realm of “possible”?
But what impressed me about the concept, despite it still not being “here” as of yet, is the idea that we could one day see an iChat video answering machine server. This time, the iChat answering machine is available to those calling in even if the target person is not online or available. Again, something I would thing is fairly commonsense.
So what say you? if there was an iChat answering machine made available, would you use it or instead, use some other alternative instead? Hit the comments, would love to hear back on this one.

Do you get paid for ever article you write for Chris, Matt?? I am being serious here. Damn near EVERY link I get from Chris on Twitter is for an article written by you. I have only seen maybe 1 in the past 10 that was yours. How much are you getting per article?
