Miffed About Myst For The iPhone?

Honestly can say that I was not all that impressed with Myst coming to the iPhone. This is not to say that I have a problem with playing games in the iPhone mind you, I just cannot see anyone taking the time with a game that involved on a mobile platform.
But perhaps I am being too hard on the game. After all, if someone brought the old NES classic Immortal to the iPhone, it might be safe to say that I would be all over it. So in the end, I guess it is all about perspective.
At the end of the day, the games best suited for the iPhone tend to be those that have a lot of movement and racing games appear to be on that list. So unless this version of Myst is coming with marbles that roll or cars that move with immense speed, I do not see it doing all that well myself.

I love Myst! It’s been a while since I’ve played it on PC but that would be one game I’d love to play on my cell phone. I don’t have an iPhone, but if I did, I would probably purchase this game over any rolling marbles or fast moving car games. It would be perfect for the small screen of a phone due to its puzzle solving nature. It truly is an involved game but with proper programming & design I see it suitable to the mobile platform.
