First of all....ITS CALLED NAIL POLISH REMOVER....and secondly, IT WILL EAT THE PLASTIC!! Dude, you should really stop giving advice to people, and check what you typed next time for literacy.... could any one else really understand what dude man was trying to say? I think not. ANY KIND OF NAIL POLISH REMOVER WILL DISSOLVE PLASTIC! Acetone or not. Think about it, its meant to take off enamel paint (really tough stuff) from finger nails... plastic will literally be melted by it. If you value your computer at all (and I'm sure we all do, MACINTOSH ROCKS) don't use it, get some cleaner from Apple.

Hey, so, I'm a bit bummed by this post's retro title. Since, you know, I don't have a wife.

Good luck with the whole nail-polish thing.

I used a special polish without acetone on the side of the keyboard and it ate all the plastic. Don't use it!.
If you planning to buy a MacBook, I suggest you to go for the black one.

Do not use anyyyyyy kind of nail polish. First off, it does clean it. But sometimes if you scrub to hard, it eats away the plastic. I have a macbook and got a discoloration. I cleaned it using a non acetone nail polish remover it had disappeared. BUT, there is now a place on my top cover that actually sinks down lower than the rest of the cover because the nail polish remover ate the plastic away

You can use nail polish as long as you buy the kind WITHOUT Acetone, if you put Acetone on your computer, that is what would cause it to eat away at the paint... be careful

Get a Free Audio Book

Are you tired of reading books? Me too. Over the years, I developed pulpuslaceratapohobia - and the only known cure for that is Audible. Finally, a way to digest words without actually having to read them. Professional voices are wonderful choices if you love literary works in audio format. Are you ready to read some audio books? Maybe you should just listen to them instead.

VMware and Parallels for Virtual Machines

It doesn't matter if you're running on Windows or Mac OS X - every power user needs either Parallels or VMware (or both). There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.
