Yesterday we told you about the sweet news reader for the Mac called NetNewsWire. Today, we tell you about another sweet product from the same company behind that sweet RSS/Atom reader. (Okay, we’ll cut out the surfer talk now.)
TigerLaunch is an application launcher for OS X (don’t let the name fool you.) Much like the launcher found in OS9 where you could launch applications from the menu bar, TigerLaunch will display ever application on your hard drive in alphabetical order. Don’t worry, if you’re not interested in using Directory Access or any other application, you can easily configure TigerLaunch to ignore your selected applications.
The nice thing about TigerLaunch, other than it being free, is that it gives you one easy location to find your applications. No matter how deep you bury your programs in folders, TigerLaunch will find them. With TigerLaunch, you can now keep your dock nice and clean (with limited, yet most used, applications on it) and feel tidy at the end of the day. And when it really comes down to it, isn’t that what it’s about when you have a Mac? Nice and clean looking? :)
