Need More Diskspace?

You can’t have enough free disk space, right?

Someone pointed out to me that OS X uses a lot of caches, and that these caches use big amounts of disk space. I did some reading about this and found out that you can delete them without any trouble and these caches can hold multiple gigabytes of data!

To remove this wasted space, delete the following folders:

/Library/Caches

/System/Library/Caches

/private/var/root/Library/Caches

~/Library/Caches

There are some programs that can do this for you if you’re not very comfortable with the Terminal. An example of a good program that suits this purpose is Applejack.

So if you need to save disk space, this is a simple way of getting more space on your hard disk!

I am going to write a script that can do this for me on a monthly schedule. The problem is: “I need more time!”

Maybe I should cancel sleeping completely. I mean it’s five hours of wasted time, doing nothing!
