Sonos has gone Universal. Releasing news today that the Santa Barbra-based company is now supporting both PowerPC and Intel based Macs, it proudly informed the SvenOnTech today that, “By providing this new support, those Mac users lucky enough to get their hands on the new Intel-based Mac models will be able to continue to enjoy a seamless Sonos experience.” Thomas L. Meyer,
Worldwide Manager, Public Relations, also told us that, “From day one, Sonos provided support for the PowerPC Macintosh computers. Developing applications that provide ease-of-use and ease of set-up for both PC and Mac users is very important to Sonos.”

As avid users of our Sonos, we’re just waiting on Amazon to make us one of those lucky users Sonos speaks of so that we too can take advantage of this new release.
