Showtime Jumps Onto The iTunes (Video) Store

Showtime and Apple have announced today that fans of Sleeper Cell and Weeds now can start purchasing episodes of them at $1.99 each. Don’t worry Kirstie Alley fans, Fat Actress is here all the way back to when Kirstie was, well, fat.
“iTunes allows fans of these hit Showtime programs to purchase and watch them in an innovative way,” said Matthew C. Blank, chairman of Showtime Networks. “It is also a tremendous opportunity for non-subscribers to sample Showtime’s programming.”
This addition now adds to the more than 12 million videos already available at the iTunes Music Store, which really needs a name change at this point. ;)
