I could not believe the rumors at first. I mean, Disney taking over Pixar? You’ve got to be kidding me! So when someone pointed me to the rumors at first, I was like: “Yeah right, this is not going to happen!”

But it seems I was mistaken, it happened and it happened for about 7 billion dollars!

What amazes me was the fact that this also means that Steve jobs is the biggest shareholder. I would say this is a major deal for him. His “child” turned into an “adult.”

With the trouble Disney was in lately it completes the puzzle. Disney was releasing movies, but most of them where sequels and those movies did not bring the loads of cash it was used to. Pixar, on the other hand, is doing great and while I am writing this I think to myself I could have seen it coming…
