Mac’s USBPhone is Here

Is it because Mac is going the way of Intel or is it because more manufacturers are realizing that there is a market for Mac products that we are starting to see more Mac stuff? Either way, I’m glad to see that now there is a USB phone that fully supports all hardware functions on OS X.

Chwang Yi has just released its USBPhone that works on both Windows XP and Mac OS X. “If you are a Mac OS X user, this is a real treat for you,” so says Chwang Yi’s product page. Truth is, it will be. All the same features Skype users get on a Windows box can also be used on a Mac. Ringtone changes, volume adjustment, and even changing the sound devices can all be done from the phone itself. And since it is fully compatible with eBay’s Skype, you can talk to nearly any other Skype user around the world for free.

The USBPhone is being offered for $24 direct from Chwang Yi and it comes with a 100% replacement phone for up to one year. Not a bad deal and one pretty good backing, too.
