You’ve had it happen to you, I’m sure: the insistent warning message from the Software Update utility indicating that there’s a new version of an Apple program available for download, a program that you don’t use, and probably didn’t even know you had installed on your computer! You could just accept the update, but sometimes it’s a lot easier to simply disable the update tracking for that application:
