This is from Jeff’s Mac Tip of the Day, presenting small but practical tips to make your time spent inside Mac OS X more productive and enjoyable. The more you learn about your Mac, the more you realize what an amazing piece of technology it really is.
If you are typing a message in Mail and run across a word that should be in your spell checker’s dictionary (such as your name, your company’s name, etc.), you can quickly add it to your Mail dictionary (then, it will recognize the name in the future instead of flagging it as misspelled).
Here’s how: When you come to a word you want added to your dictionary, control-click n the word and choose Learn Spelling from the pop-up menu and it will be added - no longer flagged as not recognized!

Question:
I always make a mistake typing “Dont” and the MAIL spell check dictionary flags it but does not offer the correct: “Don’t”…
If I type in Don’t the “Learn” window does not appear so I cant seem to add this…
All I would like is to show “Don’t” in the guess options I can choose, it shows 8 other words but not Don’t.
Can’t is ok…
Shouldn’t is ok…
What do you think…is there an answer for my trivial question ?
Thanks soso much…
Best regards, Ted
