I’ve only been podcasting for about three months, but I have to admit that the biggest development in podcasting took place in June of this year when Apple released iTunes 4.9. Even with the small audience that I had, I saw a 5 times increase in downloads when iTunes was released. In speaking to many other podcasters in several forums and user groups, it seems that almost everyone experienced the same explosion in listeners. This would have appeared on the surface to be a positive thing for the podcasting community, but it seems that many podcasters are not happy. Why you ask? Their complaints are as long as your arm.
