Love Is In The Air

Well today is Valentine’s Day and, of course, cupid has been spreading his love to everyone. For me, today marks not only one holiday, but two: It’s my birthday, so I get double the cards and presents! I have been receiving e-cards all day, and I have noticed a few friends are sending me iCards. My first impression was that Apple had created an online greeting card service, and I was right.

Yes, Apple now has an online greeting card service called iCard. Free of charge and part of .Mac service, you do not need to have an account to access and send the iCards. However, if you are a .Mac user, you can create an iCard using an image from your iDisk or even submit artwork to the Members Portfolio. If it’s selected, it will be added to the Members Portfolio or Members Digital Art category of iCards for anyone to send. Artists who are .Mac members and would like to have their work featured can contact Apple to have their work featured on the site.

For more information or even to send an iCard to your someone special, have a look here.
