AppleTalk is a beautiful thing, and just like most Mac applications, it just works. AppleTalk is a networking protocol developed by Apple Computer for communication between Apple Computer products and other computers. This protocol is independent of the network layer on which it is run. But what if you have a couple PCs on your network that you’d like to be able to communicate with? The answer is PC MACLAN.
PC MACLAN works on Windows running 9x/Me/NT/2K/XP, and allows for cross-platform file sharing either via TCP/IP or AppleTalk on an Ethernet network. Additionally, one is able to run file and print servers as Windows Services and you can also share printers.
Whether you’re on a large network or just have a few computers at home, PC MACLAN gets the job done with a quick install of the program.
