It seems like I am always on the go with my Powerbook. Wether it’s running up and down the east coast or to job interviews my gear needs to be like my OS: stylish, easy to use, but more importantly, functional and efficient. I mean, that’s why were all using OS X, right?

According to the TidBits Web site, Security Update 2004-09-07 could end up causing some problems. The update was served up to address a whole bunch of security issues that needed to be dealt with. However, there are also some included changes to Safari that have been causing some Web site rendering issues.

According to Inside Mac Games, a preview of the RPG, Knights of the Old Republic has been posted at Apple’s Web site under games. This seems to be a growing trend for Apple as more and more games port over to other operating systems like the Mac and Linux.

Crazy Apple Rumors reports that iPods are taking over the Mac community, almost like invasion of the body snatchers you might say. Over the past couple of days I’ve been showing you how to turn your iBook or PowerBook into a mobile multimedia station. We started with hardware requirements, and moved on to audio software. Today we will be taking the next step and looking at video playback.

HP has introduced their own branded iPod, along with customizable skins for
the audio player called HP Printable Tattoos. The Apple iPod from HP is
available in a 20GB model for US$299 and a 40GB model for US$399 -
mirroring Apple’s own pricing.

According to a Think Secret article and the FAQ pages in my iPod manual, it’s true that Apple has cut the support from 90 days to a “single incident” of complimentary telephone support. Customers can use their single incident within the first 90 days of purchasing one of the new click wheel iPods.
