One app that hasn’t made it to my list of Favorite Mac Apps yet, is Porteus, a multi network IM client. It hasn’t made it on the list for two reasons: 1) When I reformatted my system 2 times ago I forgot to reinstall it; and 2) I ran into some problems with it on my system (but that was a few versions ago)…
Well, the developer has gotten him self a job at Apple, and thus had to hand over development to a 3rd party. Proteus is now under the control of Defaultware, which plans to continue to develop the app, saying it has a “bright future ahead.”
