iTunes Music Store Surpasses 100 Million

Late, late Sunday / early morning Monday, Apple’s iTunes Music Store reached the 100 millionth song sold milestone! To celebrate the countdown, Apple launched a promotion in which it was giving away iPods… but the grand prize winner who downloaded the 100 millionth song would win a 17″ PowerBook, 40GB iPod, and an iTMS gift certificate for 10,000 songs (to make the ultimate music library).
Apple is reporting that it will list the winners soon.
