Super Bowl Giants

So the year in NFL is over and the NY Giants come out ahead in one of the best football games I’ve seen in a long time. That was even better than last year’s Super Bowl. I’m a Bears fan though. So would I still be saying that if the Bears had won last year? I don’t know. It’s still great though to see two brothers win back to back Super Bowls. It must’ve been a great confidence booster for Eli to have Payton up in his box the entire game.
Watching Tom Brady get sacked five times was great. This morning, I saw Eli Manning get questioned in an interview on who should’ve (minus himself) gotten the MVP for that game. He went on to say how everybody did their part and the team as a whole really did a great job. He named a few players and went on to talk about the defense. If I were him, I would definitely say “Give it up to the defense”. Putting Tom Brady on his back more than five times in one game is a HUGE thing. The first half of the game, they just kept running that 5-on-5 just like Chris Collensworth had said on Inside The NFL on HBO the previous week. Chris has a “war room” in his house. I’ll talk more about that later. To make a long story short, he advised them to run their defense 5 on 5 and force Randy Moss to come inside. That’s where he takes a hit. And that’s exactly what the Giants did. Randy Moss was almost completely shut down the entire game by the Giant’s defense and every time they ran 5 on 5, it was a no-go for the Patriot’s offense.
