If what you want out of your web browser is speed, then Opera is the way to go. In my opinion, there is no faster web browser out there than Opera. It doesn’t have many addons to speak of, nor is it integrated with any Operating System. However, it will get you around the Web faster than Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape Navigator, and even Camino.
As I’ve already said in this blog, Firefox is my browser of choice due to it’s capabilities and functionality, but if speed is all you’re looking for, then Opera is definitely the way to go. Try it and you’ll see. The only one that even comes close is Safari for the Mac.
One more thing. I don’t care WHAT the speed tests that you find on the internet say because I have tried them all and have first-hand experience with them and KNOW which one is faster.
