Prior to my college career I loved music and math. Like many, I had no idea what to pick as my field of study. Well as highschool was ending I was “forced” to pick a major since applications were due. Basically I “threw a dart in the dark” and it landed on Computer Science.

At this time, I thought “What is Computer Science”? Blindly entering a new chapter of my life I began my technical career. I HATED IT! My professors seemed to be talking in such a foreign language using such words as ‘identifier’, ‘template’, ‘C’, and ‘noob’. Sure enough, I wasn’t doing so well in my first semester. In fact I practically failed.

 I don’t know what it was but my second semester it all turned around and got straight A’s. Call it an aqcuired taste. See I live in Hawaii and there resides a local mindset that things are going to stay the same, or at least people want them to. No motivation, no inspiration, and no perseverance. This is what I grew up in.Since watching Chris’ broadcasts and starting my own computer repair business, I want to know more, I want to share and help others with their technical problems.
