Well, it’s been a few days since i’ve submitted a post. I’ve been busy, sleeping odd hours and well, if i don’t do this in the morning i just don’t have time during the rest of the day. The weekend was rather calm, short of some guy tryin’ to get snippy w/ my homey at work, a situation i was able to calm quickly, nothing really happened. It’s the first time in 4 weeks we had a weekend w/ no altercations. Being completely honest, however, i seriously considered just goin’ upto the guy and takin’ him out. I doubt he woulda been able to take my punch. But, it would’ve been stupid and pointless, i would’ve likely been arrested for some violence bs.

This week, congress held a hearing to discuss virtual worlds; i love Jon Stewart’s take on the whole thing,”Congress has finally given up on the real world”, “I don’t believe you..Osama bin laden’s not in his mom’s basement making Jihad friendly avatars.” In case you wanna watch it for yourself, head on over to this link at Comedy Central.

Let’s see, what else is new. Oh, new clip from Iron Man. First test of the flight system in the final suit. Interesting scene but very impressed by it. You be the judge. Iron Man. Buffalo introduces a new 1tb storage drive. It’s amazing the size drives are getting to these days. Just the other day 2.5″ got a 500gb model, yay for notebook users who need the space, w/ this new introduction, 1tb drives are soon to follow. In other news, some guy was able to get 108 applications running simultaneously in vista w/ sp1 at only 30% processor usage. This was a bite back against Apple’s Mac OS X running 150 apps. Ever wonder what a desktop w/ 150 apps looks like.. OS X

Amazing new Luminoso floor rug. Looks gorgeous, a must have for any serious space decorated home theatre room. I’d hate to walk on this, it’d likely be on my wall… Luminoso
