Nvidia’s new GeForce 9800 GX2 is here. HardOCP reviewed the card and essentially, it beats the pants off Radeon HD 3870 X2, but it’s still not better than 8800 GT in terms of price vs performance. This card will retail at around $600. wait…WHAT? no, yeah, you read that right. A card that is supposed to be the best of the new series, is almost identical to previous series. Based on specs and benchmarks, it’s comparable to 2x slower versions of the 8800 GTS 512mb cards. If you’re new to the game and looking for an upgrade, you will do no better than the 8800 GT 512mb card. So much for p0wning Crysis thus far this year.
