Greetings and hello my readers, my apologies for having neglected you all for so long. I have a story to tell, one that is sad, and very, well, sad.

Recently, I had the opportunity to meet someone, that I immediately felt a hatred toward, as if this person were just the highest grit sandpaper you can imagine, and his very appearance made you feel rubbed raw. This was a walking talking epitome of the ‘real’ man, who came from a very small town in rural America. He was very uneducated, racist, and a believer in old fashioned values that included the oppression of women. His attitude was that of someone who has a very small penis, and a very large ego to try and make up for it. Very pathetic.

The first time I met this man, I literally desired to kill him upon site. This was not a normal feeling for me, and in fact, I cannot clearly remember any time previous that this event has occurred, and it took me rather by surprise. Our discourse was not friendly, and I was very aggressive verbally toward him. To be honest, he probably did not directly deserve my vehemence, but his presence literally incited me to anger, and I had desires to do evil things to him.

This really is not usual for me, and I ranted later on of fantasies regarding his demise. Why do absolute assholes have to exist? In nature, animals kill that which is a true wrongness, but we as bipeds must obey some strange ideology that states we must suffer with those who make life difficult.

My repulsion did truly have a heart, as this man was an absolute idiot, with values the size of a pea. He loved to demean and belittle those around him, use them, and play the innocent victim. He would then try to put you in your place, as if his asinine attitude, were your fault. He was very weak in heart though, and words sliced through him like knives…I perhaps could not kill him, but I could shred him verbally.

The second meeting we just avoided one another. I honestly just wanted to avoid conflict, because I did not want to tempt my rage against this man. Why did he have to exist? To think that ‘asshole syndrome’ can keep such a man employed, and we must all tolerate his existence. At least in ancient times, they would have cast him out of the village. Problem is, some other village has to take him in, or kill him, or?

The third meeting found him in the household I am currently living in, and he began to cut down and belittle all of it’s residents. My daughter hearing him make a comment about her brother, cut him down in his tracks, and told him he better not talk like that to her brother.

To say the least, this drew him into stunned silence. He then tried to defend himself, and denied her accusations of his having done anything wrong. Full blown forward, she continued her onslaught, and he turned to the oldest male of the house, and stated to him he needed to get “these women under control.”

Obviously this man is afraid of strong women, and it is self evident he is a victim of his small town rural life, and it’s ignorances. He just could not imagine a woman that could kick his ass, but here were two of us, and both gladly willing to do so, if it had been legally possible. So sad.

Let me tell you gentlemen, and listen well to these words of wisdom. The stronger the man, the stronger the woman, only a weak man desires complete submission. It was sad that this man was unable to let go and accept his own weaknesses, so that he could grow beyond them. Instead he ran in false pride, in an attempt to hide his own lack of strength. Not much of a turn on there.

Strong and wild women, how many are out there? How many men can handle them? Emotions that run so deep, it is hard to not say what we feel. They call us bitches when we say what we feel, but I can tell you, we only speak our minds. What crime have we committed?

Well, I am blessed that this person will no longer be in my sphere of existence, so that I do not have to feel such drives, and suppress my natural urges. Of course, the suppression of natural urges does lead to perversion, so I will channel that into something physical…like consensual violent sex, or the martial arts…all for the “betterment” of society. Right?

Stay tuned for the continuation of this blog, in part two, ‘Transcending Slavery’.

Last night I had the opportunity to watch Glen Beck’s report on ‘Liberty in Peril’. This was a landmark show in my opinion. I have long awaited the mainstream media to start talking about what is really happening out there on the political front.

Mr. Beck covered as much as he could I suppose, in the one hour available for this show. Most of what he discussed was regarding more easily accessible information, but I gather he didn’t have the time to cover the deeper details.

Gun control was one of the issues that was discussed. Mr. Beck talked about the New Orleans situation, and how the government seized the guns of local residents in the aftermath of their disaster. He did not mention though that this was not the first of such seizures. He did imply however, that this was a growing concern, and that we need to fight for our rights to bear arms, before all of our guns are confiscated.

He also covered the North American Treaty, and the impending possibility that we will soon be ‘MexiAmeriCanada’. I was very happy to see this finally reported about in the mainstream media, and quite surprised to be truthful! Hopefully, this information will awaken more Americans to the understanding, we are about to lose our sovereignty.

During the various topics that were covered, Mr. Beck slammed the United Nations repetitively and those governmental agents responsible for the selling off of our freedoms. He however took a very Christian point of view, which I found to be undermining in the pure logic of his report.

Part of his report focused on the current popularity loss Christianity is undergoing, and in his opinion, how this was causing a great division within our country. I found it sad that such an intelligent seeming man could not see that a large portion of this country’s problems were rooted in religion, as he defended the partial religious roots of America.

At another point during the show, he discussed the current trend toward secession. It was quite obvious Mr. Beck had hand picked the two men he had interviewed on this subject, with the intention of slanting his side of the story. The two gentlemen being questioned about their pro-secessionist’s views were not able to communicate themselves well, and Mr. Beck did his best to make them look like fools. When they did reply with intelligent comments, he would cut them off, and mock them.

It was obvious Beck was not in favor of secession, and he hailed the original constitution as our saving grace. He stated that without the American government, Jews would all have been slaughtered by now, if America had not stepped in as a military power in World War Two. He also seemed to be in favor of our current war activities, and felt it was our responsibility to take care of such countries that were in need. This was in part, his reasoning against breaking up America into smaller countries.

Unfortunately Beck is not as educated as he would like to be, as he seems to be ignorant of America’s role in World War Two. Just as in recent wars, that war was also staged, and there is plenty of historical evidence to support this. Bush’s foreknowledge of 9/11, and his lack of action to prevent it, is very similar to the situation that occurred with Pearl Harbor.. After World War Two, many of Germany’s war criminals, were placed in important government and military positions here in the US.

We the American people have been given nothing but reality mock-ups for quite a number of years now, so that we are more easily herded toward the desires of our oppressors. Unfortunately, Beck seems to be still brainwashed by those he himself condemns.

The other problem with Beck’s support of our country as a military power, rather undermines his being against the UN as a single controlling power. Right now the US plays this role, leaving every country in the world in fear of our dominance. What is the difference between the UN, or the US being the tyrant?

It was a good starting point though, and I was surprised to hear quite a bit of what he had to say, I agreed with. I think that this is just the beginning, and that society as a whole, is going to wake up to what is really going on. Of course, this awakening to truth will be only the beginning of a new crisis. Disagreements on how to proceed, and what is the best method for resolution, will bring many heated debates and challenges.

Do we try to return to our original constitution? Should we break up into smaller countries, and make way for many new possibilities? The latter at least would bring an end to the turmoil between religious, political, and philosophical upheaval, that keeps our current system in a constant state of warring within itself..

The problem with the original constitution is that it is not perfect, and it would require some alterations. These flaws were the doorway to alter the constitution originally, and the gateway for the alterations it later suffered, and continues to suffer.

We have grown and evolved as a people over the last two hundred years, and we are far more educated about the world than when this country was founded. One would think this new knowledge and understanding would aid us in a greater growth and evolution forward, toward a new future. Why should we regress, to a system that has clearly not worked in the past?

I greatly appreciate Mr. Beck and CNN for making a stand on some very important issues. Perhaps due to the content being very religious at times, it will awaken those within the more conservative groups of America. This show was a step in the right direction, and I look forward to seeing more honest reporting in the mainstream media. It just goes to show, we all really are making a difference!

Here is a partial clip of last night’s ‘Liberty in Peril’. It appears this video has been taken down. Very odd.

Very odd.

Well, I have returned to Seattle. Portland was not the place it used to be, and I find I much prefer Seattle. In my absence, I was asked to do an interview by the Seattle Times. Unfortunately, I received the email after the interview deadline was over. It was for an article about ‘controversial blogging’. Who, me? Controversial?

I also received my review, from The Weblog Review. It seems the reviewer was unable to access all of my archives, so I assume this was why the review seems rather slanted. I know some of my content is about myself, but I was a little stunned, when they recategorized my blog to ‘personal’. Also, there was nothing mentioned regarding my political or paranormal content.

I was complimented though when reviewer Amusings stated:

“I wish there was a hybrid category for this site.”

Along the same lines they also stated:

‘The content of the blog is really random… In the month of June, we move from Firefox Extensions to Insomnia help to our author leaving home at 15 to find The Meaning of Life, to Open Source and Fashion, to tips on how to be a real friend, and a really fun sounding apple to oranges practical joke.”

I suppose the focus on my blog being ‘personal, was partly due to the reviewer’s own personal tastes:

“My favorite Shadowmyth entries are the very personal ones, like all the creeps who hit on her when she’s dancing, the how to be a friend lesson, how she has no morals, what she thinks of her kids’ experience in the public schools, and glimpses into her past. “Life has branded me with a wandering soul,” she writes. And it seems that for the past several years she has wandered, adventured, seen, existed, and now has settled down to writing about it and the tools she uses to interface with the rest of the sphere in this stage of her multiverse. ”

All in all, I was given a rating of 3.75:

“I found the writing to be really interesting but didn’t like the navigation of the archives. Overall the look and feel to the site is incredibly simple. The main pages are a gradient purple with two column layout, and clicking on an entry title opens it up in a paler blue setting. It would be nice to walk through the entries in a link to “next” or “previous” fashion, but for the most part getting back to the main page is easy.

I give this blog a 3.75 rating and change the category to personal. There is more content, and far BETTER content, within the pages that is personal instead of the computer category. And I wish her luck with her move and in her new city.”

I will never forget the first time I stuck my writing into a computer analysis program. It analyzed your writing quality, style, etc. It stated my writing was of a ‘mechanical text book style, not intended for your average reader’. I was honestly crushed. It took me years to learn a more communicative style of writing, that was not boring, or overly technical.

I still write in my technical style, when I write in my journals, but I find I care for it less and less. Years later, and here is another review of my writing. This one is by a flesh and blood person, with their own opinions and thoughts. This time there is no cold computational assessment, but thoughts coming from one individual. Which is more valid? The rational assessment of a computer? The slanted opinions of people?

I suppose they are all valid in their own way. The computer understands rhythms and patterns, it is not opinionated, and only sees what ‘is’ on a logical level. The emotional and thinking biped, s/he sees through the eyes of their experience. Since the reviewer is also a reader, I can more greatly understand how one portion of my demographic, views my writing. People are what matter in the long run, so I suppose the latter has more weight.

Thank you Amusings for your musings on ShadowMyth’s Multiverse, you do me a kindness.

This week I am headed out of Seattle, and on the road to Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, I will have only limited Internet access the next few weeks, and I will be unable to blog. Right now I sit writing this in a house that looks like a war zone from one end to the other. I have until tomorrow to make it all look pretty and livable! I will be staying in a motel, and then head to Portland in about four days.

Portland is an old stomping ground of mine, and I look forward to my return! Now I can once again enjoy the great outdoors, wild food foraging, and more sunshine! I will return to my blogging as soon as I can, and I look forward to sharing my new experiences!

Dream true everyone, and I will see you in a few weeks!

Lately I have had a sort of writing block. Even when I have the time to blog, I am at a loss as to what to write. That which I do manage, is the result of just writing whatever comes out of my head, or just focusing on what needs to be said.

I suppose it is a result of the stress and pressure in my life currently. I will not bore you with the details, but suffice to say, there is a lot going on. Having the time to blog, has been difficult, and when the time is available, I feel rushed. All around me is the chaos of moving, and the harried actions of those a part of the unit I am currently living in.

I look forward to the new house, where ever it is. Still, we have not found a replacement vacancy, and we have five days left to go. It will all fall together, like it should. I know, it always does. The invisible mattress placed beneath my falls, always results in a safe landing. This landing will be an improvement over the last one, it always is.

And still, the pressure, the stress, of a world in change. So exciting, so tragic, so absolutely beautiful.

A woman came to my door today from the local school system. She was a teacher, and she came to tell me there was no school today. She and the other teachers were on strike.

She said that the school district had blown millions of dollars on pointless things, and now, there was no money to run the schools properly. They didn’t have the needed resources, or employees to fill their basic needs. Last year, one of the school’s was shut down, so of course, the load has increased on the other local elementary school.

The housing market has plummeted, and homes are a buyer’s market. People aren’t taking out loans. Companies all over the country, are laying people off. Statistics will try and slant what you see, claiming everything is just fine with the economy…but it is not, and we all know it. Down comes the old, down falls the structure, that has held our country together. Precariously it topples to and fro, and we all tire of holding our breath. When will it finally fall, and come home to earth?

It is happening, surely as I speak these words. The tired outdated machine that has perpetuated war, disease, and pain, seeks to live on, and it’s power retain. But one flaw is in it’s plan, it depends upon us, and we will feed it no longer.

I looked into buying a house today(an oxymoron?), through a service advertising on Craig’s List. They said for $198, they could help me buy a house in my area, and get it within 7 days. This was via houses that were about to go through foreclosure. I was even guaranteed my money back, if I did not get what I wanted. It was a scam. A quick look through some Google results, and it became quite obvious. I had played this game once before, I wasn’t playing again.

So many scams, I get scams in every form they could come in. When I see them, I recognize them, almost immediately. Some appear so genuine, and it is sad, it really is, that there are so many of them. However, it is a sign indeed, for desperate times, reduce people to desperate measures. Crime always increases with economic issues.

The peace of our society, is based off of the almighty dollar. In the schools of the capitalist hangs a flag, and it’s colors run red with the blood it has shed. But there is no one in the classroom to see it… as the teachers all went on strike.

My mind cannot focus, it wanders about, and all that I have to offer, are crumbs from my subconsciousness. They are not well put together, or organized, but they are there. I look forward to when I have my web cam , and I can greet you all in a more personable fashion. So much easier to show, than to tell.

Abstract ideas without any form run like rivulets along a country road, meandering through time like a half forgotten memory. Intelligent intellect analyzes form, and makes logical leaps of understanding, rarely seeing its mysterious properties as something with life and soul.

Dreams within different dreams, reflecting so many myriad ideas and concepts, each one a facet on the gem stone of life. Homogenies offspring lacks diversity and flow, and faceted things are far prettier you know.

I like diversity; it gives life to dream’s infinite possibility. Seeds of ideas falling into the soil of its potential, and unfolding into flowers that have arisen from all of the shit this planet has ever been through.

It is divine, and yet it is degrading, and it comes out like a sublime melody that each experiences differently. Influential motions of populations, changes quickly in very little time; the wave effect multiplying, the snowball gathering mass as it flows downhill.

It is all nothing but dream, a shift in mind, a shift in reality…and yet there are consciousnesses like boulders, and they do not want to grow, or move beyond the confines of where they now exist. They block flow, and hinder travel, when we as groups seek passage toward something greater than where we are now.

Yet boulders cannot withstand great upheaval, and they will crumble under the weight of earth’s changes. Over time, even the winds will wear them down. Change is inevitable, and with change brings a newness, a freshness to life.

It is newness that brings wonderment, an ignorance of something we did not previously know. It is this ignorance that brings childlike curiosity, and it’s lack of ignorance that brings knowledge and wisdom.

Falling, falling, falling, beyond the macro, and into the micro; I can see forever here. No matter how deep I dive, no matter how many worlds I enter, there are always more beyond this one. Sentient life? Sentient life is everywhere! Sentience lay in every living cell, and every living creature. Everything of course has its own agenda and purpose, and it is aware of its job, no less than you are aware of yours!

Sentient life, and yet it is not sentient; it is a pool of chemicals, biological processes, electromagnetic frequencies, and functions, working in symbiosis, creating this cellular network of existence we have come to call life.

Diving even deeper, I fall past the boundaries of order, and plummet into disorderly worlds within the in between.

Here form is but a thought, and not yet manifest into the solid world of permanency. Here, life is moldable, and thoughts create so much. Abstract understandings that you completely grasp, and yet there are no words to make sense of them, in a language that we have known. Paintings coming to life, objects that speak, people with odd appearance, and physical laws that seem impossible. Here lay the world of chaos, here lay the world of dream. Within and without it’s tapestries do weave, a pattern of flow, that come to bear their essence upon the web work of your soul.

See not what is before you, but read between the lines, pay attention to the subtleties, and innuendos that blatantly lay open for all to see. There is nothing truly hidden, for those who will look with open eyes. Life will always work toward the truth of our desires, and the truth of our fears. We are dream’s manifestations, we are characters on the stage.

We take so seriously the game we play, and often go on to complain about it another day. Can’t change it? Get used to it. That is what they say. Be grateful for what you have, and don’t demand more, at least I’m alive. Alive? Alive? Like a house cat longing for the outdoors, like a rat wanting free of it’s cage…I want to feel my wings!

And so I rise above the confusion, I rise above the clamor, of ideologies, and religion, governmental dictates, and genetic tendencies that cry out to be freed. There, beyond the horizon, I can see where earth meets sky, and I know there is a balance. The balance I find, within myself. Destination unfolds from within, and the pathway now is clear, I have nothing to fear. The body is but a moment in the memory of life, but the dreaming soul is forever.

I am. I dream.

And onward does the spiral turn.

Small change is good. Small change accumulates, like change on the car floor. It may seem like so little, but it can be your saving grace, when you need an extra quarter for air in your car’s tire.

Small change is like ripples on an ocean sea, it builds and creates waves, effecting all of the ocean’s creatures. Small change is like a virus, it infiltrates on a micro level, and it’s effects are not seen, until you are already infected. Change is infectious, it spreads.

Each of us encounters so many people in a given day, either in person, over the phone, or on the internet, etc. Those who are complete hermits are not reading this, and I am not including them in this picture. Each person you meet, is an opportunity to make change.

The first thing that can be done, in an unintrusive way, is to merely be an expression of what you believe. If what you believe, and how you live your life, really work for you, others will see this. For years, I tried to make change in people through my words, and then realized, I was taking the wrong approach. Yes, I write this blog, but I am speaking of ‘in person’ here.

Now that I no longer criticize or critique the people in my life, telling them that they need to change, I merely just obey my own advice. Many of the things I do, work, and many people in my life can see this. Now, they are more open to change, as they do not feel put on the spot, and challenged as people. As the saying says, “You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.”.

My daughter realized that several approaches to life I take, were working for me, so she tried them. Now, she has affected quite a number of people, by being an example to them. People can always argue with words, but they cannot argue against what obviously works through example.

Another way to make change, is through your internet connections. For example, today I had posted an ad on Craig’s List, for a free couch. Those who I was not able to give the couch to, I sent emails. This was what it said:

The couch is gone, but I appreciate your offer to pick it up. Such a wonderful world in which we can give away what we no longer need, and receive in kind. I appreciate your helping the environment, and not buying new. Have a wonderful evening!

~Shadow
ShadowMyth’s Multiverse

Now, first off, I thanked them for wanting to take the couch off of my hands. This helps to establish a positive connection with the person. I then go on to make a positive statement about reality, putting in their mind, that this situation where we can trade, is really cool. Perhaps if these people are merely takers, they will feel a little more inclined to return in kind on Craig’s List.

Next, I put into their minds, that they are not only getting something for free, but, helping the earth too. People want to feel they are doing right, no matter what they believe, even if it only doing right for themselves. When possible, appeal to people’s desire to do the right thing.

At the end I sign my name, and include a link to my blog. You can include the URL of your favorite cause, your business, or whatever message you are wanting to impress upon them. This furthers the doorway, and can continue on to make an influence.

In this situation I did not include a saying, but this is also a good idea. Instead, I included an animated picture, that was mysterious and drawing, but friendly. The picture will make them desire more to click on my blog link, more so, than if there was no picture.

This is a very friendly approach, and much more of an influence on reality, than if I were to say, “The couch is already gone, thanks for your offer to pick it up.” That would just be a wasted opportunity.

When you go out shopping, be sure to take note of the names on employee’s name tags. Strike up conversations, and be friendly. After you get to know people a bit, share a few personal details about your life, and ask for details about their life. As you connect, you will begin to create a relationship of sorts. This relationship may be limited to your shopping visits, but it will be an area of connection, where you can spread change, or even increase your customer base.

Make conversation with people on the bus, while waiting in lines, when picking up an item from Craig’s List, or any potential social situation you could find yourself in. The opportunities are endless. As time goes on, you will begin to gain a reputation. This reputation will aid in even greater change, as people will want to meet you, based on that reputation.

Blog, make videos, do podcasts, be a public speaker, put out advertisements, do volunteer work, and just connect through whatever mediums are most comfortable for you. In this modern day, making change is easier than it has ever been before. If what you have to offer, truly will improve people’s lives, there will always be those who will emulate your behaviors.

People learn through what they see, and are exposed to. You, as an individual, have the ability to expose people to ideas they may not encounter otherwise. Most people hang out with a select group of friends or associates, and limit their experiences, to what they allow. Young people tend to avoid older folks; religious people’s often avoid those who curse or speak of ideas other than their own; and gangs tend to avoid the police.

Everyone is an opportunity to spread your living example, and your ideas. Do not limit yourself, by being overly exclusive. Just because you do not bring the folks from the store over to your house, doesn’t mean you need to avoid them at the store. Every relationship can have it’s individual depth of connection, you are in control of where the relationship will go. There is never a reason to avoid having friends, the more the better.

Connection is a wonderful tool, and it is filled with incredible possibilities. Each connection of two, creates a third energy. This third energy is like an entity we both have given birth to, and how it thrives, is up to us. Nurture your relationships, and they will nurture you in return.

If relationships are not nurturing, and cause harm, it may be best to disconnect. Try not to make assumptions though, but come to understand a person over time. The very act of working toward understanding one another, is a very positive change unto itself.

So, how do you make change?

Overpopulation has been argued by many to not be an issue. Most often it is religious Conservatives who make this claim. This quote from the Christian Bible, is often used as an excuse to overpopulate:

“Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

According to one Christian:

“For example, Christians should not join environmentalist campaigns to reduce “overpopulation” because Christians know that the concept makes no Biblical sense, and contradicts God’s express command to fill the earth. Unless the earth cannot physically sustain any more human life, it is not overpopulated, since God created the earth to sustain mankind and delights in human life. “

This kind of thinking is in part what is causing the current world population problem. I think one of the most common motivations though for populating without thought for the environment, or the future children being created, is due to mere human instinct. Humans are compelled to get married, settle down, and raise a family…this is their genetic imperative.

Nature almost always has methods for dealing with overpopulation. For example, in Arizona, birds breed all year long, due to the good weather. It is common to find dead baby birds at the base of trees, as the birds throw the young fledglings out, if they are unable to sustain them.

There are predators to keep populations down, but unfortunately, humans have no natural predator, other than other humans. In the case of human predators, they get locked away, and are prevented from controlling populations.

Abortion is condemned by most religious groups, or even the use of birth control. The female is considered to be nothing more than a breeding machine, and not given the option of controlling her own reproductive functioning. Not only does this cause overpopulation problems, but a host of other issues.

A vast amount of children out there are being raised by parents who do not even want them, because they could not afford an abortion. There are far more children needing foster care or adoption, than there are people wanting to take them in.

Pregnancy takes a lot out of a woman, and those who are breeding large amounts of children, quite often end up in poor health. As their health declines, so does the genetic health of the future offspring. Weak people produce weak children.

Lack of birth control or education is another issue. Our government will not fund abortions, but they will support families on welfare. Abortions are most often under $500, but the cost of raising children is far more expensive. Some people will argue here, saying that human life does not have a price, but the price is one we will all pay, if overpopulation continues.

It is amazing to me, that there are still those out there in our reality who refuse to see the effects of overpopulation. Due to ideologies that have no basis or logic to them, they continue to destroy the earth, for the sake of what they can have, after they die! Can you imagine?

In Revelation of the Christian Bible, there is a full blown account of what will happen due to overpopulation, but the Christians seem to think these ‘prophecies’ are merely proof that their god is all knowing and wise. If you tell people to go out and populate without regard for population density and the consumption of resources, you are going to end up with a host of issues, all of which are described in revelati
