Fuel Cell Powered Notebooks to Hit Market in 2004

“The commercial market will likely witness the appearance of fuel-cell-powered personal computers in 2004. Toshiba Corp announced on March 5 a prototype direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) designed to power notebook computers. It is the world’s first fuel cell that can be directly connected to a notebook computer as an alternative to conventional lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, according to Toshiba.”
