The first time I heard about this distro was some weeks ago on Distrowatch. Since then, I have read and seen quite a bit about it. So what’s so different about Ubuntu? As far as I can tell, many factors are responsible: a brand new Gnome 2.8 desktop, the fact that it’s Debian-based, and it’s a sensible package selection. The entire distro comes on one CD, but this is Debian, so if you don’t see your favorite apps, there is always apt-get to correct that.
