Linux has hit the world like a freight train lately. Even big name companies like Symantec are allowing their employees to migrate their stuff over to Linux. It is almost like we are on the very edge of a revolution - a Linux revolution.

Almost overnight, Microsoft has found themselves in a most unsavory position. They have publicly announced that they plan to compete with, rather than shut down the Linux movement. Will this work? Do they stand a fighting chance? Man, it is almost like Linux has in inadvertinly called Microsoft out for a battle royal! If I were developers for hardware like Webcams and other specialty equipment, I think that I would get it together here pretty soon and offer better Linux support. If you do not, I am willing to be that your competition will.
