I contribute to a number of blogs, in addition to maintaining my own blog. Today I was reminded by one of them that I wasn’t posting enough.

While this is absolutely true, I spent some time thinking about the reasons why (aside from the true, but lame “too busy” excuse).

Here are some of them:

• Self-censorship: idea is just not good enough to blog, so I decide not to blog it
• Nothing to contribute to the conversation: Seems like it’s been “blogged about to death” already
• No ideas: Blank on blog topics

Do you find yourself with any of these issues?

How do you combat them?

For a number of reasons, the frequency of my blog posts have dwindled down considerably… I’m just trying to find ways to make blogging interesting again for me and how to face the blogging doldrums.

Your ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.
