Razer’s Modest Mouse is Krait

OK, below is a mouse with what I might consider to be some sort of “ground effects”. Seriously though, I am not really all that impressed with what the Razer mouse has to offer.

Razer is no slouch among gaming mice makers. After all, they were the first company to popularize the genre, with the 2000 DPI Razer Boomslang, introduced in 1998. Since then, many companies, especially Logitech, have made a killing in selling these supercharged rodents. It makes perfect sense too: Gamers demand high performance, plenty of buttons, and a comfortable design that can withstand hours of fragging pleasure.

The last Razer mouse we looked at was the ambidextrous Copperhead mouse. The Razer Krait follows the beat of the same drum by offering its users another symmetrical mouse aimed at both righties and lefties. These ambidextrous mice, from an objective standpoint, are great for the market because they equally benefit everybody. But righties and lefties alike argue that these ambidextrous pointing devices don’t meet their ergonomic needs, because they don’t conform specifically to either hand…. Source: ExtremeTech
