iTunes 4.7 disables “iPod Download” application

In a move that truly stupefies most of us, Apple has decided to disable iPod Download for iTunes users. This is going to make people think twice about choosing iPod, let me tell ya.

In an already competitive world, Apple decided to add another strike against their name with the move that will be talked about for many weeks to come. I have to smile since I would not give Jobs my money for one of his media players no matter what they were priced at.

We interrupt the worldwide iPod love-fest to complain a bit. Hey Apple, WTF, the very useful app “iPod Download” made our iPod 10 times better, we were finally able to easily get music off our iPod, but since we’ve updated iTunes to version 4.7, now (of course) it doesn’t work at all. C’mon guys, this is our music, on our iPod. Here’s more about the app when we covered it last month.
