Mission Control said the words that people wanted to hear:
“…”Congratulations on a tremendous mission and a great landing Pam,” Mission Control radioed once the shuttle rolled to a stop.”

In the morning skies, it was possible to see Discovery as a little dot moving across the heavens. It made the heart race a bit quicker, knowing that the tiny speck was racing home to Florida. It was history - and spectacular. Kudos to Commander Melroy and the Discovery crew - welcome home!
