This is essential information that, hopefully, you will never need. However, if you do happen to need this action plan because of a data breach and identity theft, it is absolutely critical that you access this information and act upon it immediately. - The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has provided a comprehensive plan to follow in case there is a possibility that you have been (or might be) a victim of identity theft. There is a four step plan and it is detailed at the following link:

I have been doing some study on this, since it has hit close to me. It has been made fairly difficult to use the SSAN of someone deceased in younger years, so one has to ride along with someone who is alive…so this will continue to get worse. Everyone should expect the worst, and hope for the best.
