Will Mobile Phones Bee The Death Of Us All?

There should be an image here!Bees are needed to pollinate crops and keep the production of food going. In recent years, massive bee populations have been mysteriously disappearing, causing concern that world harvests could be disrupted. Some scientists are suggesting a correlation in this phenomenon, called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), and radiation given off by the newly ubiquitous mobile phone.

The theory is that radiation from mobile phones interferes with bees’ navigation systems, preventing the famously homeloving species from finding their way back to their hives. Improbable as it may seem, there is now evidence to back this up. [Source: The Independent]
