Super Hero Food

By the title of today’s Warped site, you’d think that we would be telling you about the food to make you a superhero. You know, fly like Superman, run like the Flash, and swim like Aquaman. Not quite! This is a site that looks at superheroes, but in a different sort of way.

The site is called Super Hero Food. This is the online museum of the Web master’s collection of food products that are associated with superheroes. Some of these items you can get in your local grocery store. Some you can only get in your imagination. The concept is pretty simple: what does Superman eat for breakfast? What does Spider-Man have for a late night snack? Does Bruce Wayne eat the same as Batman, and vice versa? Who knows? But if these items are any indication, they probably aren’t eating too well.

This site looks at what would, in any other profession, be considered an endorsement. Here you can look at cereal, soda, pasta, and even vitamins that resemble your favorite superperson. There are Superman Peanuts, Superman Pretzels, even a Superman Bellywasher! Then you can move on to Batman Fruit Snacks, Batman Soup, and Batman Spaghetti-O’s. There is Captain America Bottled Water, Spiderman Hot Cocoa, Hulk Slim Jim, and the ever popular Fantastic Four Chocolate Bars. Lots of entertainment here, including the ultimate DC vs. Marvel Food Fight, a short video that somehow makes it all make sense.

So put on your tights, we’re dressing for dinner. Pretty cool site, even if it doesn’t answer the question “Who was that masked man.” The Warp-o-Meter gives this site a 7.5.
