Robert Ripley made a career bringing the strange and unusual things that were in our world (believe it or not). There was a television program several years ago called Unexplained Mysteries. Now the Internet has brought a lot of those strange and unusual sites to our attention. Today’s Warped site is one that helps bring some of them together.

The site is called NetCentral’s Directory of the Strange and Unusual. There is nothing more mysterious than unexplained events, happenings, and surprises. Things that are normally explained as the paranormal, or acts of God. This is a site that lets visitors indulge in the strangeness of our world, all from the comfort of their favorite computer chair.

Some of the sites that are looked at are ones about the Loch Ness Monster, FBI Files of Unexplained Events, Strange Things to Buy, and an online magazine called Strange Mag. Two of my favorite areas were the Skeptic’s Dictionary and Conspiracy Theories. There is a lot of other information here, with enough variety for any visitor. Be prepared to spend some time here, and if you’re at work, well, so much for productive time. Warp-o-Meter rating is a solid 8.0. Believe it or not.
