Countless people around the world undoubtedly use some form of Microsoft Office every day - let it be Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, or one of Office’s other applications. Many say that the features and versatility are endless. With all of these features comes the factor of trying to learn how to use all of the unique functions.
However, it seems as if you very well may have more to learn in 2007! Microsoft Corp. announced Friday that work on the new version of Office will likely be completed by this coming October, and make it available to business customers for purchase at this time. That said, the retail/computer manufacturer version will apparently not be available until next year. Office 2007 announced February 16, 2006, is reported to be the most expensive retail bundle - ringing in at US$499 MSRP for the full version, or US$329 MSRP for the upgrade. Microsoft made this decision in part so that the new version of Office will coincide with Windows Vista, coming out at about the same time (we hope!).
