With today’s Warped site, we take a turn to the world of literature. There are millions of words that have been written by tens of thousands of authors. But there are only a few that achieve a cult status in their own time, and even fewer have their own cult following. Today we look at one such author and his following.

The site is called Tom Clancy FAQ. He is one of the most celebrated authors of this day and age. He has been credited with creating the techno-thriller style of writing and novels, and while he may not have been the first, he has honed it to a fine art. There are many imitators but only one Tom Clancy.

Here you will find information on all of his works, past, present and future (Yes, there is a new Clancy novel coming in May 2006). While this site is not a truly Warped site, it does provide food and nourishment to those whose livers rotate around Tom and his Ryanverse, as his books have come to be called. The Warp-o-Meter gives this site a 5 for non-Clancy fans, but a big 9.5 for anyone who has read one of his books, and then run right out and got the rest of them.
