Since a warped Web site is a relative matter, I thought maybe a site on the theory of relativity would be nice. But since I couldn’t find one on that subject, I did the next best thing. Today we take a look at a site that is not only warped but educational. Class is now in session, so please take a seat.
Insanely Great Science Web sites is a collection of some offbeat and unusual sites that are science related. Where else could you find information on Neodymium Supermagnets, Magnetic Levitation Cradles, and other science toys? But there are also a series of pages on science projects for kids, arranged for every educational level, from beginners to high school and adults. They are well documented, and would be easy for any budding scientist to understand, whether he is striving to be Dr. Einstein or Dr. Frankenstein.
When I find a warped site that is both entertaining and educational, I am ecstatic. This site pegs the Warp-o-Meter at a 9.0, and if I had found the plans for a new meter in there, it would have been a 10.
