We’ve all had it happen at least once - that moment when your cell phone slips from a pocket or your hands and crashes to the ground. Most phones survive, but apparently many more make the fall into a liquid surface - like into the water of a toilet bowl.
Gross!
To save on warranty claims, there’s a new “red dot” technology that detects water damage and alerts the manufacturer that your trusty cell phone didn’t randomly stop working - you dunked it in the bowl. Game over.

I got a new Sony Ericsson W850i phone last year. Wihtin the first week, it gave me so much trouble I had to return to the repair centre for repairs. In the first two months, I went to the service centre about ten times! Still they refused to change a new set for me.
Now I will take my money and business elsewhere.I’m from Singapore, mind you.
Sony ericsson can just GO BANKRUPT for all I care. I will NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN, NOR WILL i RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE ELSE!!
If someone from SONY ERICSSON sees this, well, you’ve already lost a customer for life!!!! Too bad for you.
